Senior Controller - Savannah (onsite)
Accountable for all Financial Management of the company including but not limited to: Financial Planning and Strategy, Managing Profitability, Strategic Planning, Quality Management, Promoting Process Improvement, Forecasting, Corporate Finance, Developing Budgets, Financial Skills, Dealing with Complexity, and Contract Negotiation.
Responsibilities:
Demonstrated experience partnering with business owners (P&L owners) to help them understand and drive business performance.
Demonstrated experience in financial management and accounting.
Experience should include legal, audit, compliance, budget, and resource development. Demonstrated resourcefulness in setting priorities, proposing new ways of creating efficiencies, and guiding investment in people and systems.
Proven effectiveness leading a team in finance and accounting.
Prepare Monthly Financial Statements from ERP System, cloud-based general ledger. Prepare information and KPIs for business leaders to use to manage their businesses.
Work with Audit firm on Federal & State Tax returns.
Ensure Depreciation Schedules are prepared and reconciled quarterly. Prepare and reconcile schedules and review all property taxes. Prepare covenant schedules for lenders as required.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting; master’s in accounting (Preferred) or CPA (Preferred).
At least 6 years of professional experience in a Controller role.
Experience working in a manufacturing business.
Excellent people skills, with experience collaborating in a multidisciplinary, diverse, and dynamic team.
Base salary 140k-165k plus benefits.
