)The Pitt Business School's Graduate Program is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of
Senior Associate Director of Applicant Selection and Yield Management . The job involves developing and maintaining a strategic student selection process for MBA and specialty MS programs admissions, including establishing admission criteria, evaluating effectiveness, and implementing improvements. The role also focuses on optimizing yield rates, providing a positive onboarding experience for students, and collaborating with various teams for effective communication and outreach efforts. Additionally, the position includes supervising admissions staff and leading special projects to support the mission and goals of graduate business admissions.Job SummaryOversees design and implementation of effective admissions and registration activities for the University. Manages admissions through thoughtful policy interpretation, new program development, and translation of business plans into department-specific operational plans. Formulates the budget and oversees communications.Essential Functions
Strategic selection process management; yield, student support, and handoff; internal partnerships; supervision of admissions staff; process improvement and rankings support; special projects and other duties as assigned.
Physical Effort
The position is sedentary in nature; however, travel on campus will be involved. Setting up areas for recruiting purposes may involve minor lifting or moving items.
