We are seeking a highly motivated and organized professional to lead all aspects of the documentation and closing process for domestic and international corporate aircraft loan payoffs and early lease terminations and in-place sales. Additionally, this individual will be responsible for various insurance and other operations-related activities. Below are the expected responsibilitiesLoan Payoffs and Early Lease Terminations and In-Place Sales:

Take a lead role when interfacing with all key parties (i.e. customers, buyers, vendors, legal counsel, banks) and drive all transactions to closure.Generate early lease termination and payoff quotes for customers and/or internal functions.Prepare necessary documentation for loan payoffs and lease terminations and sales.Generate and update transaction checklists to manage closing preparedness including rigorous and frequent reviews of completed documentation and conditions precedent prior to closing.Process transactions in GJC’s portfolio operating system and complete post-close operational activities.Insurance and Other Operation-Related Activities:

Perform detailed reviews of customer corporate aviation insurance certificates to ensure compliance with lease and loan documentation, company policies and credit facility requirements.Work closely with U.S. and international aviation insurance brokers and/or insurance companies to correct deficiencies.Track expiration dates for customers’ insurance certificates and request renewals from the insurance parties and/or customers.Research insurance claims and coordinate the Company’s approval process for requests submitted by customers and insurance representatives.Insurance subject matter expert for other functions within the Company And the primary interface with the Company’s insurance carrier for guidance and to be informed of changes in the industry.File UCC continuations prior to their expiration dates and file UCC terminations following the closure of lease terminations and loan payoffs.Backup support to apply cash to customers’ accounts and various other operations-related activities.Audits of UCC filings and insurance certificates.Ad hoc tasks and projects.Desired Qualifications:

BS/BA degree or equivalent with at least three (3) years’ experience in the leasing/financial services industry and a general knowledge of accounting.Working knowledge of lease and loan products and related documentation and experience with managing transactional closings.Must be able to work under strict time frames to meet internal and external customer expectations.Demonstrated customer service orientation.Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.Must be willing to work out of an office in Danbury, CTUnrestricted work authorization for the United States.Desired Qualifications:

Aviation insurance background is highly desired.Intermediate Excel skills highly desired (i.e. data analysis, formulas, VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, charts).Self-motivator who can manage the various aspects of multiple closings and to progress transactions to closure within their desired time frames without close oversight.Skills and knowledge to take on “out of the box” and unexpected tasks and challenges with composure and resourcefulness.Extremely detailed-oriented and able to effectively organize, prioritize and multi-task.Strong oral and written communications skills.Strong work ethic with high energy level, positive attitude and can effectively work as a team player.Able to suggest improvements to process gaps that will lead to efficiencies or eliminate potential risks to protect the portfolio.Ability to quickly adapt and embrace new processes, ideas, and technology.
