In this role, you will have ownershipof US subsidiaries' workers' compensation and auto liability claims process andmanagement of third-party adjustors appointed to administer claimsResponsiblefor daily management of workers' compensation and auto accident claimsincluding: control of claims including internal communications with Legal, local operations, safety personnel and co-ordination of third-party administrators, negotiation of policy contracts and commercial content with brokers and insurers, participate as subject matter expert in internal teams related to commercial contract discussions with customers and suppliers, daily support to US operational businesses on insurance topicsYou will be a key contributorto daily department operations; supporting third party service provider selection,negotiations and contract development, budget preparation, cost management, allocationand invoicing, operational enhancements and strategic projects in the insurancefield and cross training of department colleagues to enhance teamwork and knowledgeYou will interface with third Party Service providers (notablyinsurers, insurance brokers, loss adjusters, actuaries), internal tax, legal and procurement professionalsand management, finance colleagues in business units tasked withlocal insurance responsibility, local operations and safety personnelWhat makes you great
You will need professionalexperience in managing complex, multi-disciplinary corporate activities gained eitherwith an insurer, broker or multinational corporate; to include assessment,control and mitigation of riskDemonstrated experience in advisingand communicating with non-finance professionals to effectively educate and informcolleagues on financial programsProven intercultural sensitivityand experience in mediating between different interests and at various hierarchylevelsStrong analyticalskills to use data to underpin decision makingAbility to summarizeand communicate in a differentiated, clear and concise manner with a variety ofaudiences including technical specialists,management and general business contactsStrong relationshipbuilding skills (with business customers, consultants and suppliers)Financial acumen and negotiation skills
