Collections Specialist
will assist in the collection of rents from residents at apartment communities. The Specialist will be responsible for collaborating with property management to contact and collect due rent from residents. Specialist will visit multiple properties daily and interact directly with the residents to minimize delinquency. This is a roving position that requires reliable transportation.Responsibilities:Responsible for delivering letters to residents to encourage payment of delinquent accounts.Confer with residents in attempt to determine reason for overdue payment.Record information about status of collection efforts.Attend evictions with the County Sheriff and eviction crews.Ensure amounts are paid to property management.Understand and adhere to the guidelines in the resident's lease.Adheres to federal and state Fair Housing Laws as well as all company policies.Supports team in achieving the goals of the property.Qualifications:Strong attention to detail.Valid driver's license.Position will travel between properties located in Colorado Springs.Must have a reliable vehicle.
