Sales & Business Development Representative

for

Wolters Kluwer TeamMate , your primary responsibility is to generate opportunities in order to drive new profitable sales growth within the TeamMate Americas Business Unit. You will be responsible for learning and understanding the value proposition and staying current on the TeamMate Suite of solutions, prospecting for new clients and driving expansion within the existing client base following a methodical sales process. You will represent TeamMate software and Wolters Kluwer within the industry and contribute to sales planning and forecasting activities. You will report to the Manager, SMB Sales – TeamMate North America.Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities

Achieves/exceeds assigned sales targetsMeets/exceeds weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual activity metricsApplies sales process and methods to present solutions to prospects, overcome objections, and use persuasive selling techniques to generate warm leadsArticulates value proposition of the TeamMate Suite of SolutionsDevelops and maintains strong knowledge of full portfolio of assigned products and general knowledge of all CP & ESG software offeringsDevelops and maintains general knowledge of industry trends and competitive solutionsDocuments all activity in CRMWorks with sales reps to hand off warm leadsLearns and follows a comprehensive business development process, including:Conducting business analysis prior to prospecting calls and identifying opportunitiesUsing sales methodology to prospect new leads and build pipeline for National Account Managers and Account ExecutivesPresenting value proposition to prospects using a consultative sales approachOvercoming objections and using excellent listening skills and persuasive selling techniques to create opportunitiesContributes to business development planning, forecasting and marketing activitiesManages time and resources effectivelyQualifications

Education:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or related field. OR, if no degree, high school diploma + 2 or more years of relevant sales/business development experience.Minimum Experience

1 or more years of sales/business development or inside/virtual sales experience6+ months of B2B sales/business development experience in a software/SaaS, non-manufacturing/Retail or service-related industryDemonstrated track record of success and achievement in a comparable sales or business development roleProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook & Teams)Working knowledge of Salesforce.com or other comparable CRM applicationNice to have

Prior Software/SaaS sales experience in the Finance/Audit, GRC or Tax & Accounting industriesPrior work experience in an Internal Audit environmentOther Skills, Knowledge & Abilities

Target salary range CA, CT, CO, HI, NY, WA: $44,000-$60,200. This role is eligible for Commission.Additional Information
