Job Description

Software development for active safety products with focus on brake systems.Responsible for the development of functions and diagnostics required to support Electronic Park Brake/Parking Assist/Value Added Functions and other customer requested braking functions.Perform requirements engineering with customer and internal teams.Be responsible for requirement analysis, architect design of embedded software.Contribute to impact analysis and safety analysis report for releases.Work in collaboration with customer, safety manager, and development team on all functional safety, SW architect aspects.Function specification development, software design & implement solutions, system level and software level test case development.Responsible for third party software integration and testing.Perform software design reviews, implementation reviews and test result analysis for compliance to requirements.Compliance to processes standards and work according to industry guidelines (e.g. ISO26262, ASPICE).Test to verify solution and validate component and system level requirements.Support in-vehicle and offline (laboratory) software testing based on established methodologies.Flexible, willing to flex working hours to allow daily international team collaboration while achieving a good work/life balance.Support coordination with the customer departments and platform team.

Qualifications

A Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.3 or more years of experience in software engineering and automotive software.1 or more years of vehicle networking, diagnostics and debugging complex systems.Experience with requirements engineering as well as laboratory environment, vehicle, and system test and release procedures in automotive or related industry.Experience in Control Area Network (CAN), Diagnostic Communication (CARB, UDS, Test tool etc.).Good written/verbal communication and presentation skills to discuss issues/solutions with team and customer.Capable to work independently in an organized and structured fashion with good analytical skills that support a systematic approach to problem resolution.Valid driver's license.Strong sense of responsibility and commitment, innovative thinking.Desirable SkillsKnowledge of AUTOSAR architecture, AUTOSAR based development, Embedded C, Matlab and ASCET tools.Knowledge of electronic stability control (ABS/TCS/ESC), brake system/booster, complex software, system architecture projects.Experience working on global projects with global teams.Strong problem solving skills.System Overview (including HW and Sensors).
