Motorola Video analytics platforms allow our users to proactively monitor their premises using advanced video analytics and high resolution / high quality video.Job DescriptionWe are looking for a smart, self-motivated and versatile Sr Software Engineer. As a member of a full-stack agile team, your skills must complement the team to define, implement, test and deliver features toward our Video Product Line.In order to be successful in this role, you must value teamwork and collaborate effectively with a small but dynamic team to deliver customer value. Our agile teams vary between 3-6 members in size and are fully empowered to continuously improve.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or a related field) or 4 years of equivalent work experienceProgramming knowledge in at least one of the following: C#, Javascript, Java, Python, C++DevOps knowledge using cloud technologies (e.g. Azure, Terraform, Kubernetes)Developed RESTful APIs used with web browsers, mobile applications and back-end serversWorking knowledge of Linux and Windows based development environmentsSelf-driven and acts with an extreme sense of urgencyExperience developing, debugging, and shipping software products on large code bases that span tech stacks, platforms and toolsMust be willing to work a hybrid schedule 2-3 days per week in the office and overlap the team’s working schedulePreferred Qualifications:Masters Degree in Computer Science (or a related field) or 2 years of equivalent work experience.5+ years of experience developing in C#, Java, C++ or similar languages (for server and client applications)Desire to take on leadership roles as opportunities present themselves.Competency with SQL including building complex queries to manipulate large datasetsUsed tools and written scripts to manage continuous deployment and integration, monitor usage and troubleshootingExperience building web, mobile, server applicationsKnowledge or experience in the following specifications: ONVIF, OData, RTSP, WebRTCExperience with distributed computing applicationsThe position is based in either Fresno, CA or Fort Collins, CO and the candidate must reside in these areas as you will be required to work in office on a hybrid model.The base salary range for this position in California and Colorado is $105,000 - $125,000.Basic Requirements:Bachelors Degree OR 4 years of experience in software development4+ years of experience developing in C#, Java, C++ or similar languageLegal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required.
