Lateral Associate - Asset Securitization

Chapman and Cutler LLP is seeking an experienced mid-level Associate Attorney to join the Asset Securitization Practice Group at the Firm. The successful candidate will have at least two years of experience in transactional work, corporate law or finance law at a large or mid-size law firm, in-house law department or governmental agency.Examples of specific types of desired experience include the following:Representing companies and financial institutions in financing activitiesProviding advice to clients on structured finance transactionsAdvising clients on the acquisition or sale of portfolios of financial assetsRepresenting parties to secured and unsecured credit facilitiesDrafting and negotiating offering and transaction documents and financing statementsUnderstanding of commercial and securities law issues as they relate to finance transactionsRepresenting parties in financing transactions with a broad range of asset classesAdvising on debt and equity issues in capital markets transactionsThe ideal candidate will have strong academic credentials as well as superior interpersonal, analytical, and writing skills. Commitment to client service is critical, as is the ability to handle fast-paced transactions and juggle multiple projects and deadlines.
