Bond, Schoeneck & King PLLC, a full-service law firm of more than 300 attorneys with 15 offices that are located across New York State, as well as in Boston, Kansas City, FL and NJ, is seeking an experienced Immigration Attorney (8+ yrs) to join our firm’s growing Business Immigration Practice Group in the role of Senior Counsel.The ideal candidate will specialize in business immigration law with a strong emphasis on EB-1 petitions, National Interest Waivers (NIW), and various non-immigrant work visas. This role requires a deep understanding of the complexities of immigration regulations and the ability to navigate them effectively for our diverse clientele.Location(s) : Buffalo, NY or Syracuse, NY / Hybrid Work Arrangement May Be PossibleKey Responsibilities:Case Management:

Manage a high volume of immigration cases from inception to completion, ensuring timely and accurate processing of EB-1 petitions, NIW petitions, and non-immigrant work visa applications.Client Consultation:

Provide expert legal advice and consultation to clients regarding immigration strategies and options (particularly in the context of business immigration), requirements and limitations of particular immigrant and non-immigrant categories, visa processing inquiries, as well as USCIS and consular processing protocols.Document Preparation:

Draft, review, and file necessary legal documents, petitions, and applications, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.Legal Research:

Conduct thorough legal research to stay updated on the latest developments in immigration law and policy, particularly those affecting business immigration.Representation:

Represent clients in immigration proceedings and before various immigration authorities, including USCIS, USDOL, and US consulates.Business Development:

Collaborate with the firm’s partners and Immigration Practice Group team members to develop and expand the immigration practice, including participating in networking and marketing activities to attract new clients.Team Collaboration:

Work closely with attorneys, paralegals, legal assistants, and other team members to ensure efficient and effective case management.Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.License:

Active membership in good standing with the state bar.Experience:

Minimum of eight years of experience practicing immigration law with a focus on business immigration.Expertise:

Proven expertise in handling EB-1 petitions, NIW filings, and various non-immigrant work visas ( e.g. , H-1B, L-1, O-1).Skills:
