Primary Responsibilities For Account ManagerYou will be responsible for overseeing, servicing and cultivating existing law firm and strategic account relationships toward mutual partnership and success. Acting as a main point of contact for law firms, private equity firms and other partners, you will interact with all departments within Morgan Stanley at Work to ensure that client expectations are met, and satisfaction levels are maintained.Key Role ResponsibilitiesProactively build “partnership” style relationships with law firms, private equity firms, and other strategic partners, focusing on integration at all levels, maintaining relationship with all contacts at the firmsConduct client meetings and demonstrations and coordinate training sessions, and other client requests as required.Interact with various client stakeholders to solve problems, build strong partnerships, and uncover new opportunities.Drive relationship management strategy and handle large-scale projectsConduct ongoing needs analysis to determine appropriate services to meet client requirements; prepare specifications/gap analysis documents for client requests for new functionality.Keep client apprised of new product functionality that may be relevant to the law firm and their clients.Foster client loyalty through Morgan Stanley at Work’s standard client interaction protocols and proactive client retention initiatives including client meetings, corporate communications, quarterly partnership meetings, etc.Understand and interpret contracts, and any client exceptions to company standards, with respect to pricing, plan management or service level commitments.Collaborate with key stakeholders internally across the firm to ensure we are coordinated in our efforts when engaging with law firms.Mentor other team members with respect to client interaction, communication tactics and positioning strategies.QualificationsA Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or Economics is preferredUnderstanding of private market equity, cap table management is strongly preferredProven ability to work independently and manage numerous assignments concurrentlyStrong communication and relationship building skills with an ability to interface with senior leadership, both internally and externallyExperience working with partners, channels, and integrators to build strategic offerings that drive awareness, demand, and salesStrategic thinker with strong analytical skills and experience working with dataAbility to thrive in an ambiguous, fast-paced environmentExperience in strategic partnerships, business development or strategySeries 7, 63 license preferred
