We are recruiting motivated and talented individuals with expertise in transcription regulation, RNA biology, genome architecture, biochemistry, and/or genomics to work in the laboratory of Dr. Angela Ting. The Ting Lab focuses on epigenetic regulation in both healthy and disease contexts. We have pioneered next-generation sequencing (NGS)-based DNA methylome assay and analytical methods, and we have successfully applied these tools to studying genome-wide changes in DNA methylation patterns in human diseases.LEARNING OBJECTIVESConduct research on cancer epigenetics.Plan, organize, perform, and monitor daily project protocols.Collect, prepare, and maintain required research documentation.Prepare and present research progress and results.ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTSRecent Ph.D. or M.D./Ph.D.POSITION INFORMATIONMD Anderson follows the NIH stipend levels as outlined by the Kirchstein - NRSA.
