We are currently seeking a
Staff Nurse
to join our
Inpatient Psychiatry unit.This position is a
0.6 FTE (6 shifts/ pay period), 8-hour shifts, Day/Nights, Every Other WeekendA sign-on bonus ($8,000.00) is available for eligible external candidates (current employees and former employees returning to HHS within one year are ineligible).
RESPONSIBILITIES:Within the context of the Hennepin Healthcare System Patient and Family Centered Care model, and under general supervision, the registered nurse provides and coordinates nursing care by:Protecting, promoting, and optimizing healthPreventing illness and injuryAlleviating suffering through the treatment of the human responsePartnering with the patient, their family and significant othersDocumenting interventions and an individualized plan of careQUALIFICATIONS:Minimum Qualifications:1 year of current professional nursing (RN) experienceGraduation from an accredited school of nursingPossession of a valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the State of MinnesotaPreferred Qualifications:Psychiatric nursing experienceCertification in area of clinical specialtyBSN Preferred. Bachelor of Nursing degree is strongly encouraged.
