A law firm in Raleigh is seeking a highly qualified Tax Associate Attorney or Of Counsel to join its dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in building and expanding the firm's existing tax practice. This position offers significant client interaction opportunities and the potential for long-term leadership growth within the firm.Duties:Provide comprehensive tax planning and advisory services to clients, focusing on estate planning.Conduct legal research and analysis related to tax laws, regulations, and precedent.Draft legal documents, including wills, trusts, and other estate planning instruments.Collaborate with other attorneys and professionals within the firm to address complex tax issues.Represent clients in tax controversies and disputes, including negotiations with tax authorities.Requirements:Juris Doctorate or higher degree in Law from an accredited institution.Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in estate planning.Demonstrated expertise in tax law and estate planning strategies.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Admittance to the State Bar or eligibility for reciprocity.
