FacultyJob DescriptionThe Assistant Professor of Large Animal Surgery faculty member for the Lincoln Memorial University ( LMU ) College of Veterinary Medicine ( CVM ) will seek to advance the mission of the University in large animal surgery programs of study. The faculty member shall assist in the coordination of each large animal surgery program of study in consultation with the

HarrogateJob DutyJob DutyEstablish curriculum, subject matter and methods of instruction and those aspects of student life which relate to the medical education process;Job Dutycontribute to the planning, development and evaluation of courses and academic programs within the College of Veterinary Medicine ( LMU - CVM );Job Dutypromote by precept and example a general atmosphere within the

of respect for knowledge, thought and inquiry;Job Dutymaintain intellectual integrity and to strive for academic excellence in his/her teaching;Job Dutypromote adequate standards of linguistic expression in writing and speech;Job Dutymaintain up-to-date records of the grades of each student enrolled in his/her courses;Job Dutyhave on file in the appropriate office an outline and list of the goals and objectives for each lecture;Job Dutycarry out lecture, seminar, small group discussion and/or clinical assignments and responsibilities effectively;Job Dutydesign and present a course, series of integrated lectures and/or small group discussions;Job Dutyprepare examination questions as well as grade a course or portion of course;Job Dutymeet classes according to published schedule;Job Dutycommit to working in a multicultural environment that fosters diversity;Job Dutyprovide service by attending scheduled faculty meetings and by serving on appointed and or elected committees as required;Job Dutycomplete required institutional, program accreditation, and other reports necessary for the operation and advancement of University programs, both on campus and at extended campus sites; promote the mission of Lincoln Memorial University to all faculty, staff, students and to the community at large;Job Dutypromote effective working relationships among faculty, staff and students; andJob Dutyperform other duties as assigned.Posting NumberPosting Number
