Isolere Bio, Inc. located in Research Triangle Park, NC, is one of Donaldson's latest addition to a growing list of biotechnology initiatives. Isolere Bio develops reagents that combine engineered biopolymers with tunable phase separation, with affinity ligands that confer the unique material properties to the biologic target of interest. The company offers a growing portfolio of purification solutions for a wide range of biologics, including AAV, lentivirus, mRNA, plasmid DNA and other viral particles. Combining Isolere's deep expertise in liquid phase separation, and Donaldson's filtration technology expertise, and global sales and manufacturing footprint, we are on a fast-track to develop and commercialize Isolere's novel affinity liquid phase separation reagents for biologics purification.

Commercial Business Development Manager

III

will play a crucial role in driving the growth and success of Isolere. Reporting to the GM of Isolere, the successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, developing, and executing strategic initiatives to expand our client base and increase revenue streams. They will collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

An ideal candidate will have experience within the life sciences industry launching and growing new technologies. This individual will be responsible for external-facing activities related to collaborations and partnerships, supply agreements, channel partnerships, and other business development transactions. Due to the early nature of Isolere's products, a great candidate will also have an entrepreneurial spirit while still being able to navigate the established supporting corporate culture of Donaldson and contribute to its growing life science business.

Role Responsibilities:

Develop and execute business deals that deliver value to Isolere and lead to early adopters (co-development and supply agreements)Seek out and assess channel partnership opportunitiesDevelop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to achieve company objectives and targets.Drive customer adoption and retention strategiesSeek out and nurture strong customer relationships with decision makers in customer segments, including pharma, biotech, C(D/M/R)Os, vector cores, and related industriesDevelop and manage sales budgets, forecasts, and commercial team buildoutRegularly analyze sales cycle and adjust tactics accordinglyDevelop processes and tools to ensure excellent customer experience and sales team operationsSupport GM in compiling data and presentations for senior managementSupport Isolere's product and technology roadmaps by contributing information on customer needs and market trendsParticipate in promotional activities including trade show attendance, as neededMinimum Qualifications:

5+ years' experience in life sciences corporate or business development roleBachelor's degree in Biology, Biosciences, Biochemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biochemistry, or a related field.Established network within the Pharma industry, especially advanced therapeutic modalities.Preferred Qualifications:

MBAStrong understanding of bioprocessing industry and its commercial driversHighly motivated individual with strong communication skillsExperience with adoption and commercialization of disruptive technologies and growing first $5M of revenue for a new businessTravel:

Must be willing to travel up to 40% primarily in the assigned regions (North America and EU)
