Our team is looking for a
Backend Engineer
with a passion for building reliable, scalable, and performant software to power our experience. We’ve had tremendous growth in the past two years and have an exciting product roadmap ahead of us. Responsibilities
Build backend services including the core APIs that power our mobile apps, and our backend data processing and trading systemsDeliver software components from the first commit to productionWork in a multi-functional agile team to produce working software incrementallyInstrument, test, profile, and code review softwareContinuously deploy to our cloud-based infrastructureRequirements
3-5 years of professional experience as a software engineerBS/MS in Computer Science or relevant industry experienceA great communicator who is able to collaborate with a lack of egoExperience working with Microservice ArchitecturesFamiliarity with or interest in docker, AWS, Terraform, DatadogData-driven decision maker, willing to take risks, fail fast and iterate quicklyA keen understanding of testing best practicesFamiliarity with or interest in GoExperience building gRPC APIs
