Electromechanical assembly and bring-up of prototypes and final system enclosuresSurface mount and through-hole PCB repair down to 0201 sized componentsExecute system level tests and analyze results with engineersSupport the debug of products, sub-systems and test fixturesSupport development of text figures or jigs necessary for product developmentSupport the build and test of automated test equipment and peripheralsRework prototypes and printed circuit board assemblies down to 0201 sized componentsProcure lab equipment and services and maintain laboratory stock of parts and supplies for rapid prototypingMaintain a safe and ISO compliant laboratory environmentDocument assembly and testing procedures as requiredHigh-quality workmanship in a fast-paced environmentSelf-motivated, driven, independent, and able to work with minimum supervisionMaintain the lab asset tracking system to monitor the location of test equipmentPerseverance to debug a hard problem and out-of-the-box thinkingStrong soldering, electronics fabrication, and PCB assembly skillsAbility to understand schematics and manage sourcing of quick turn prototype boardsProper operation and knowledge of standard tools including, bench supplies, oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, etc.Basic user-level understanding of Unix/Windows, and Networking with Enterprise Switches and RoutersSkills to work with teammates of various abilities and experiencesExperience with process and procedure documentationFamiliarity with Microsoft Office Excel or Google Sheets is a plusPhysical Demands

Duties of this position are performed in a manufacturing environment with occasional exposure to elements such as noise, dust, chemicals, operating machinery, temperature extremes, etc.Duties may require periodic sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data.Above demands are carried out within the local existing Health and Safety guidelinesTypical Experience

7+ years of hands-on electronics assembly experience in an engineering development or laboratory environmentTypical Education

Bachelor's Degree in a Tech-related Major or equivalent experience.
