Job Responsibilities:

We are looking for a video content developer to design, develop and curate specific micro-learnings, and similar digital assets for internal employees to improve their ability to configure, implement and use Azure products, tools and software delivery pipelines. Digital content includes how-to videos, motion graphics, animations, graphics, and other digital assets.

Every Azure product is customized in some way at our organization, and we need someone to produce videos and other digital assets that close learning gaps between vanilla Azure products and those Azure products we developed inside.

Ideally, we want someone passionate about training and able to work well in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Responsibilities:

Design and layout of a wide range of videos (mainly, 1-6 mins in length) that transfer proprietary know-how, engage learners and improve the learner experience.

Bring creativity and innovation to design projects.

Gather customer training requirements and identify knowledge/training gaps.

Identify learning objectives, build story boards, write scripts and record and/or shoot and edit videos.

Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), instructional designer and customers to clearly communicate concepts and ideas, maintain open dialog, and ensure all design needs are met and delivered on time and on budget.

Stay up to date on branding guidelines and ensure they’re met in all digital media developed.

Work to ensure that content is accessible (i.e., closed captions in English and French)

Manage and maintain the catalogue of digital assets.

Skills and Experience Required:

Video content developer experience with 2-5 years of experience using a variety of video development and graphic design tools, including Adobe Premier Pro to develop videos, preferably in the public cloud learning space.

2-5 years of graphic design experience

Proficiency in video, motion graphics, animation tools

Solid understanding of Adobe Creative Suite

Proven technical knowledge and skills required to interact with Engineers and other IT Specialist for the purpose of developing technical training contents

Superior communication skills with the ability to effectively work with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Excellent time-management and the ability to meet often-tight deadlines.

Excellent project management and organization skills

Strong collaboration skills

Ability to quickly respond to and adapt to sudden changes with initiative and creativity.

Desired:

Technical knowledge of Microsoft Azure and/or other public cloud offerings.

Familiarity with Confluence or other similar corporate wiki / publishing tools.

Experience in Agile environments.
