The Director of Sales responsibilities include sales, marketing, and events Budget/P&L, revenue forecasting, advertising, marketing, developing and writing business plans, and ownership meetings. The priority is event planning and being proactive.Qualifications:6 years or more of progressive hotel Sales experience (preferably with Hyatt).History of opening hotels/previous hotel pre-opening experience is preferred.Familiarity with Hyatt sales operating systems preferred (Reserve and Opera).Compliance with Hyatt standards and regulations to ensure safe and efficient hotel operations.Demonstrated ability to interact with people of diverse backgrounds.Flexibility to work some nights and weekends based on business needs.Results-driven, energetic, and focused.Caring leader that builds trust and engagement through genuine relationships.Creative and strategic in developing marketing/advertising campaigns and managing hotel social media platforms.Innovative thinker challenging business processes to drive results.Service-oriented with professional presentation skills.Strengths in high energy, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leadership, exceptional customer service, and bottom-line improvement.Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills in English.Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.Excellent organizational and time management skills.
