The primary purpose of the Speech Therapist will be to provide therapy to children with disabilities at their school or home setting. The Speech Therapist is expected to create and carry out treatment plans and evaluate the needs of students.**We have cases available not only in the city listed in this ad, but all across Westchester County. Apply now to learn more about these locations!Responsibilities:Delivery of services to school aged children ranging in ages from 5-18 years· Manage schedule to maximize IEP compliance (i.e., see all students on caseload per schedule)· Attend meetings with parents, classroom teachers, and school district representatives· Write daily and quarterly progress reports on progress toward IEP objectives· Write progress notes for case reviews and special meetingsDevelops and reviews patient care plans.Participates in clinical quality assurance initiativesProvides patient education through verbal explanation, visual demonstration, or written documentationParticipate in all departmental in-services and staff development activitiesRequirements:· Speech Therapist License (NYS) CCC· 1 year experience in clinical pediatric environment preferred· NYSED Fingerprint clearance
