Responsibilities include direct inpatient and outpatient clinical care; teaching medical students, residents, and fellows; and university/ public service. (required at time of application):- Must possess an MD/PhD, or equivalent degree and be board certified or board eligible by the ABIM in medical oncology and/or hematology.Additional qualifications
(required at time of start):- Must be board certified or board eligible by the ABIM in medical oncology and/or hematology.- Must be eligible for medical licensure in the state of California.- Experience in and the ability to teach trainees at multiple levels on benign and/or malignant hematology and/or oncology on inpatient service and in clinics.- Experience in conducting scholarly/clinical/translational research. (Required for Clin X Applications, optional for HSCP)- Completed at least one year of clinical experience managing both allogeneic and autologous transplant patients.- Demonstrate the ability to work cooperatively and collegially within a diverse environment.Preferred qualifications
