Assistant - $190,000 - $237,000Associate - $220,000 - $280,000Full - $250,000 - $330,000This position includes membership in the Health Sciences Compensation plan.

Position Description

The Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Geriatric Medicine, Hospice, and Palliative Medicine at the University of California, Davis School of Medicine is recruiting for 2 full-time or part-time faculty member(s) in the Health Sciences Clinical (HSCP) series at the Assistant/Associate/Full Professor rank in Geriatric Medicine. Faculty in the HSCP series are expected to engage in teaching, demonstrate professional competence and activity, scholarly or creative work, and University and public service.We have multiple positions available for dynamic individuals to contribute to the advancement of our expanding geriatric program, capitalizing on UC Davis's unique resources, including one of the nation's most well-funded Alzheimer's Disease Centers. Renowned for excellence, UC Davis ranks highly in Primary Care and Geriatric Medicine by US News and World Report.Ideal candidates will be board-certified in Geriatric Medicine, demonstrating a passion for medical education alongside exceptional clinical and communication skills. The ability to collaborate effectively within our diverse team is essential. This position offers the opportunity to pursue either a Clinician-Educator or Clinician-Researcher track.Responsibilities include providing direct patient care on the inpatient Geriatrics Consult Service as well as teaching medical students, residents, fellows, and advanced practice providers, and participating in further development of geriatric educational outreach initiatives. Candidates can pursue scholarly activities, creative work, educational, and research activities aligned with their interests and expertise.
