is adding an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon to the group atNYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln. The Hospital is part of NYC Health + Hospitals. Lincoln is a designated Level I Trauma and Stroke Center and has Centers of Excellence in all medical specialties including its award- winning Cancer and Breast Centers. Responsibilities include direct supervision of OMFS resident staff. The candidate will be part of a growing OMFS Department that includes a strong infrastructure of support with the present attending staff in OMFS.
Assumption of role will include Program Director in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
.Primary responsibilities include direct supervision of OMFS resident team as Program Director in OMFS.Participation in daily rounds of in-patientsScholarly activity with resident education program and mentorship of research initiativesEducational conferences and presentations to faculty and residents across all disciplinesGrowth of Craniofacial Division to include treatment for Obstructive Sleep Apnea and Cleft Palate RepairQualifications:Doctor of dental surgery (DDS) or Doctor of medicine in dentistry (DMD). MD degree PreferredBoard Eligible
by The American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. (
Board Certification Preferred)Appropriate New York state licensureFellowship Certificate of training
