Cycle Count Analyst - Inventory Control - 3rd ShiftThis position is based onsite at our new Bryan Dairy location in Seminole, FL and is part of a major expansion!3rd Shift - approximately 11 pm - 7 amAs a Cycle Count Analyst, you will be responsible for executing cycle counts and analyzing inventory data to identify discrepancies and improve inventory accuracy. Working closely with the Cycle Count Lead Analyst and other members of the inventory control team, you will contribute to the ongoing efforts to maintain optimal inventory levels and minimize inventory shrinkage.What can you expect to do?Cycle Count Execution:

Perform cycle counts according to established schedules and procedures. Utilize handheld scanners or other tools to accurately count inventory items and record count results in the warehouse management system (WMS).Inventory Analysis:

Analyze cycle count results to identify discrepancies and investigate potential causes. Work with cross-functional teams to determine root causes of inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions as needed.Data Entry and System Maintenance:

Enter inventory count data into the WMS and other related systems. Ensure accuracy and completeness of inventory records, and troubleshoot any discrepancies or errors.Reporting and Documentation:

Prepare cycle count reports and documentation to track count results, trends, and variances. Provide regular updates to the Cycle Count Lead Analyst and other stakeholders on inventory accuracy and performance.Process Compliance:

Adhere to cycle count procedures and guidelines to ensure consistency and accuracy in counting activities. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area during cycle count activities.Continuous Improvement:

Identify opportunities to improve cycle count processes and procedures. Provide feedback and suggestions for process enhancements to the Cycle Count Lead Analyst and participate in process improvement initiatives.Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Collaborate with warehouse operations, materials management, and other departments to address inventory-related issues and support overall inventory management objectives. Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure alignment on goals and priorities.What is the experience needed to be successful in this role?Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required.1-2 years of experience in inventory analysis, cycle counting, or related field.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze data and identify trends.Proficiency in inventory management systems and software applications like SAP or other ERP systems.Intermediate to expert level experience with Microsoft Excel.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Knowledge of inventory control best practices and continuous improvement methodologies.
