Job Description Summary
Two Clinical Pathology positions available.The successful candidate will be expected to participate in the clinical pathology service, the training and supervision of clinical pathology residents and graduate students, and the clinical training of veterinary students. Auburn University maintains the tradition of training practice-ready veterinarians and clinical pathologists. Auburn is collectively dedicated to residency training in clinical pathology through communal interactions between faculty and residents with focused resident rounds.Didactic teaching responsibilities include participation in the professional veterinary medical curriculum and graduate curriculum. Minimum qualifications include D.V.M. degree (or equivalent) and diplomate status in clinical pathology from the American College of Veterinary Pathologists, the European College of Veterinary Pathologists, or the Royal College of Pathologists at the time employment begins. The successful candidate must meet eligibility requirements for work in the United States at the time the appointment is scheduled to begin and continue working legally for the term of employment.Desired Qualifications
Desired qualifications include excellence in diagnostics, didactic classroom or small group instruction, written and interpersonal communication, and teaching/educational scholarship.Special Instructions to Applicants
