in the future with a very casual hybrid schedule to startJob Description:We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our dynamic family office team. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial activities of our firm, which specializes in real estate and alternative investments. Your responsibilities will include overseeing financial reporting, maintaining accounting records, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.Responsibilities:Assist in financial audits conducted by external audit team, ensuring all audit requirements are met and documentation is prepared accurately and timely.Maintain the General Ledger (GL) for multiple entities, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards.Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports, ensuring they adhere to GAAP and provide clear insights to stakeholders.Implement and oversee internal audit procedures to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and identify areas for improvement.Manage cash flow and liquidity, monitoring daily transactions and ensuring adequate funds are available for operational needs.Coordinate and oversee the preparation and filing of tax returns annually across several entities.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA certification preferred.3+ years of experience in financial accounting, audit, or related roles.Proficiency in QuickBooks and advanced Excel skills; experience with financial software and ERP systems preferred.Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.Benefits:100% covered health insurance for individual and familyOpportunity for professional development and growth within a dynamic organization.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
