Job Description:
Nation Security is looking for a data-driven accountant to join our team in an integral position. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining our general ledger, ensuring the accuracy of financial information, and utilizing QuickBooks for tracking financial transactions. We are seeking individuals who are experienced problem-solvers, highly organized, detail-oriented, and time-efficient.
Responsibilities:
Process payroll accurately and ensure timely payment to employees.Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process.Verify that transactions are accurately recorded in the correct daybook, supplier's ledger, customer ledger, and general ledger.Perform bookkeeping tasks, including data entry, record maintenance, and generate financial reports.Ensure efficient processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:
Must have 2 or more years of work experience at an accounting firm or as a management accountant, bookkeeper, cost accountant, or a similar role.Must demonstrate exemplary problem-solving, communication, and time management skills.Exceptional knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, Excel, and basic accounting systems.
