Let's chat and see if we are a good match!Opportunity:Virtual Service Operations is searching for a Cleared Azure Kubernetes Developer to execute the integration of a Kubernetes based infrastructure supporting customer marking and labeling needs, perform classified deployment executions, performing development, test and production maintenance, and performing use case development for customers adopting Azure Stack and Hyperscale environments. If you have a deep understanding of development, including Azure Kubernetes, and possess excellent problem-solving skills, we want to hear from you!Responsibilities:Kubernetes (K8s) development, testing, debugging, troubleshooting of containerized infrastructureSenior level deployment yaml file, understand types of deployments, infrastructure/monitoring/health.Flux, istio, OPA, hashicorp, K8s networking, sidecar proxy experience or similar technologyGithub/Gitlab & git check-in, check out, clone, git branches, git bundle/unbundleAbility to monitor the availability, latency, and overall K8s health, to include the underlying Virtual Machine hosting K8s.Ensure solutions are well-engineered and agreed upon by team following SAFe principlesWork with business and engineering partners to deploy new infrastructure in Azure Government Cloud platformAbility to continuously learn and critically think/team player w/communications skillsMonitors overall system health, performs routine maintenance, and documents / recommends new workflows for stability as required and specific to K8’s development.K8 Troubleshooting and remediation activities as appropriate to include coordination with System Owners, Product Team, and Migration Team for developed K8 software remediation and identification of end-of-life replacements.Complete approved configuration updates/changes and escalates as needed.Follows and improves upon Change Request processes and coordination of Situational Awareness to identified points of contact.Qualifications:10 - 15 years of relevant experienceAt least 3 years of Linux system engineering experienceDevOps Engineering skillsAt least 2 years of working experience with Shell scripting, Go, PythonFamiliarity with PKI and/or Certificate-based Authentication/AuthorizationAzure Infrastructure as a Service such as deployment of VM’s, Azure Networking, Azure PolicyAt least 3 years of experience in with a focus on automation testingExperience with development tools such as Terraform, Ansible, ARM templates, Linux shell scriptingExperience authoring Test cases and documenting test resultsExperience with Agile development methodologies and software testing processesUnderstanding of the various aspects of the system development life cycle (SDLC)Familiarity with CI/CD processes and version control (GitHub/Azure DevOps)Experience working in small teams with increasing responsibilityDOD 8570 IAT Level II or higher certification upon startPreferred Qualifications:Experience with Microsoft Azure (AZ-104 or equivalent)Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)Requirements:Must be within driving distance of Lorton, VA OR willing to relocate there (Relocation Assistance Package Available)Must be willing to work onsiteMust possess an active TS/SCI clearance or aboveMust possess a DOD 8570 IAT Level II or higher certification upon startWhat is Important to Us:You are an excellent communicator in writing and speaking.You have the ability to work independently but also value teamwork.Your problem-solving skills are excellent.You are looking for a job where performance appraisals occur regularly, and you look forward to advancing your career.You seek a community of virtue-centered co-workers and clients.What we offer you:
