Let's chat and see if we are a good match!Opportunity:Virtual Service Operations is searching for a cleared Azure DevOps SME to join our team in Lorton, VA. This individual will serve as a technical project lead participating in delivering technical presentations to customer staff, analyzing technical requirements, and developing effective technical solutions. This is a lead role in assessing our client's current environment and conceiving architectural designs. This individual will work closely with our client's Account Delivery Executive, Customer, and technical lead.Responsibilities:Provide expertise in maintaining tools with up-to-date skills and availability regarding depth of experience with DevOps software and techniques to develop and support infrastructure in an Azure environment.Review and automate workload deployments Customers site-specific requirements such as enabling the consumption of workloads from collateral and program read on users off the same stack.Help automate the configuration and deployment of said solutions and have the code delivered into a USG owned software factoryDesign, develop, and build an automated CI/CD pipeline to deliver complex software products into a production environmentContinue development and maintenance of the automated software build process using tools such as, but not limited to,Docker, Jenkins, Kubernetes, and specific Azure technologiesAutomate deployment, scaling, and monitoring of applications and servicesCollaborate with development teams to ensure smooth integration of code into the production environmentTroubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure, deployment, and automationImplement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standardsContinuously improve and optimize infrastructure and automation processesSupport a cloud-hosted DevSecOps Platform inside of Azure that leverages cloud-based infrastructure such as Azure KubernetesService to support rapid software development.Lead, plan, design, and implement backlog tasking (e.g. component upgrades, feature request, bug fixes).Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers tosolve complex problems.Ensure the security controls are implemented correctly.Qualifications:10+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure DevOpsBachelor's Degree in a related fieldSubject Matter Expert (SME) in innovative and emerging technologiesExperienced in one or more of the following topics such as cloud technologies, data and AI, security, complex networks, IAAS, PAAS, SAAS, cross-platform integration, and large-scale, complex systems and business applications design and implementation.Where appropriate will have been trained in one or more of the following areas: Microsoft and/or Industry delivery frameworks, product futures, and relevant Certified Training associated with Microsoft's productsExperienced in topics such as cloud technologies and businessMust be adaptable and able to work constructively with a technically diverse teamMust have a willingness to learn and stay abreast of industry trendsRequirements:Must possess an active US Government TS/SCI clearance or aboveMust be within driving distance of Lorton, VA, and willing to work onsite.What is Important to Us:You are an excellent communicator in writing and speaking.You have the ability to work independently but also value teamwork.Your problem-solving skills are excellent.You are looking for a job where performance appraisals occur regularly, and you look forward to advancing your career.You seek a community of virtue-centered co-workers and clients.What we offer you:
