Software Developer

Savvients Inc. has openings for the position of Software Developer.Duties:Design, develop, and test data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.Design and implement large-scale pub-sub message queues using Apache Kafka.Create automated pipelines to deploy Docker containers in cloud-based infrastructure.Work with business users and stakeholders to gather requirements and convert them into User Stories using JIRA.Requirements:U.S. master’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.Minimum 1 year of experience in designing, developing, and testing data pipelines using Python, Java, Scala, and Hadoop technologies.Experience in ETL processes using Sqoop, Spark, Spark SQL, Scala, and Oozie.Proficiency in designing SQL databases and stored procedures.Experience with AWS, Docker, Apache Kafka, Spark Streaming, and NoSQL databases.Ability to develop unit and functional test cases and test scripts.Knowledge of agile/iterative software development practices.Full time
