Software Test Engineer

Working under the direction of the Software Team Lead, you will be responsible for developing and executing sophisticated Simulink software tests to identify software problems and their causes.Write automated test suites for unit, function, and system testsConduct hands-on testingDocument and analyze test resultsParticipate in product feature development from the early design stages and assisting in quality assurance testing for final product release of moderately-complex softwareParticipate in component design reviewsReport bugs and verifying fixesEvaluate product performance

RESPONSIBILITIES

Participate in design reviews and code reviews; create test strategies and plans based on development requirements.Design and implement test infrastructure; contribute to test tools and assets.Design, implement and execute automated and manual test cases, analyze results, report and track defects, verify fixes and perform follow-up work to resolve issues.Evaluate performance of the core Simulink features and participate in performance improvement initiativesLead cross-functional Software Quality efforts

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Computer Science5 years of professional work experienceExperience in mathematical modeling and simulation technologiesHands on programming experience with MATLAB, Simulink or C/C++ or JAVAExperience with Object Oriented Programming/DesignSelf-motivated with the ability to work with people from multiple teams
