The company is a wholesale flooring provider of carpet, LVT and tile focused in the multi-family market.Compensation for this position includes a base salary of $65,000-$75,000 along with monthly commissions.RESPONSIBILITIES:

Drive maximum sales profitability, growth, and account penetration within the

multi-family/apartment market

by effectively selling flooring products and installation services.Maintain a pipeline of new business through innovative prospecting techniques.Present products and services to existing and potential customers, assisting them in selecting the best solutions for their needs.Provide comprehensive information for each new account/customer and deliver floor plans and pricing via customer templates.Address customer complaints and issues promptly.Set and achieve monthly and quarterly sales goals.Conduct random job site inspections and report findings to the Operations department.Keep the sample/showroom and sales office organized.Report any relevant information regarding competitive pricing or market changes to management.Perform other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS:

1-2+ years of previous outside sales experience preferably in building materials.Highly motivated and target-driven with a proven sales track record.Preferred knowledge of flooring products and/or industry experience.Previous experience in the multifamily industry is advantageous.Demonstrated success in prospecting and generating new accounts.Strong prioritization, organizational, and time management skills.Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.Proficiency with MS Word, Gmail, Google Docs, and/or Google Sheets.Possess a clean driving record, reliable transportation, and the ability to travel daily to various customer sites within the assigned territory.
