The Opportunity:
The Regional Sales Director will be responsible for selling Purchasing Power’s voluntary benefits program. With a specific emphasis on our target broker-consultant customer base, you will discover, engage, and cultivate new relationships with broker-consultants. You will be responsible for sales activities within the designated Southeastern region of the U.S., encompassing AL, GA, FL, MS, NC and SC.
What You Will Do:
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and increase market share.
Drive motivation and provide training to brokers regarding the Purchasing Power program, aiming to instill excitement and enthusiasm for our offerings.
Foster new relationships with broker-consultants and engage these connections by attracting new employer clients through broker channels.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing Brokers to foster loyalty and encourage repeat business.
Transition activated broker relationships to the Purchasing Power Broker Account Manager once sale has been completed.
Pursue new business opportunities with direct employer clients if the opportunity arises.
The Experience You Will Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Business or 8+ years of sales experience in the employee voluntary benefits and/or HR services industry may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Experience selling employee benefits to medium-large organizations either directly or through insurance brokers.
Background in sales, cold calling and presenting to new prospects.
Solid strategic, negotiation, presentation and relationship building skills.
Ability to travel 50% to 75%.
