The Regional Energy Advisor PositionSunnova Energy is searching for full-time, entry to mid-level commission driven marketing specialists that have a winning attitude. Our Regional Energy Advisors utilize their strong communication skills to inform, educate and advise new potential Sunnova Solar customers about the benefits of Sunnova Adaptive Home (Solar, Battery, Generator, EV Charger, HVAC, Smart Load Control, Grid Services and Solar/Storage Buyback programs).Regional Energy Advisor ResponsibilitiesProficiency in qualifying prospects for Sunnova adaptive home products and answering frequently asked questions.Ability to generate demand and schedule in-home appointments for the consultant group.Experience working in assigned retail stores.Capacity to maintain team daily productivity.Track record of meeting and exceeding sales metrics.Minimum RequirementsOne year or more of previous experience in lead generation, customer service, or sales.Proficiency in using a smartphone or tablet to access necessary tools and resources.Ability to connect to Wi-Fi spots for communication and accessing online information.Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced retail environment.Willingness to learn and adapt to changing market conditions and customer preferences.Goal-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.High school diploma or equivalent.Preferred QualificationsExperience in residential solar or lead generation.1+ years of retail experience.Door-to-door experience.Cold calling experience.Marketing experience.Self-motivated and independent player.Additional Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesAccurate Data Entry.Great in-person and over-the-phone sales conversation skills.Working ConditionsRemote-office environment / Retail store environment.Working in assigned locations within a 50 miles radius of employee’s residence.Physical RequirementsExtended periods of time spent in a retail environment.BenefitsSunnova offers a generous employee reward package that includes:Comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, healthcare flexible spending account, and 401(k) with employer match.Competitive compensation.Paid time off, including 10 holidays and Paid Parental Leave.Free access to onsite fitness center in Houston and/or discounted fitness memberships through health provider.Flexible Work Schedule.Monthly phone / tablet stipend if not using company devices.
