OverviewAnsible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently recruiting multiple Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Registered Nurses to support operations at the VA Palo Alto Health Care System located at 3801 Miranda Avenue, Palo Alto, CA 94304. Position Pays:

$97.34 - $112.22 /hrResponsibilitiesThe Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory services shall be provided in accordance with the policies of the VA healthcare system where assigned. Major duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Monitor and examine patients prior to procedures, as well as during and afterAdminister medications and assist the medical team in whatever they may need during the procedurePrepare patient and the surgical field in a sterile manner, and select required instruments, catheters, guide wires, and ancillary equipment necessary for the prescribed procedureAssist with catheter exchanges, injections, and balloon dilationProvide venous access via initiation of an intravenous (IV) lineCare for patients requiring invasive hemodynamic support equipment to include an intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) or an ImpellaInfluence care outcomes by collaborating with members of the interdisciplinary teamPoised and articulated when communicating with people of varied educational levels and varied ethnic backgroundsWorks cooperatively as a member of a team in all assignmentsParticipates in unit/program level quality improvement processes and initiatives as well as customer service programsQualificationsCompletion of an accredited Registered Nurse academic program (BSN or ADN)Current Registered Nurse licensure in at least one state, territory, or commonwealth of the United States or the District of ColumbiaAmerican Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certificationAmerican Health Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certificationThree(3) years of recent Cardiac Cath Lab RN work experience is requiredAll candidates must be able to:

Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift

Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist

Lift up to 20 lbs

Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance

Push/pull with 30 lbs of force
