Compensation: $125k - $175k + BonusOur client, located in Fairfield County, CT, is seeking an Assistant Controller. This position will be responsible for the accounting, financial, and operational performance reporting completed for the firm.ResponsibilitiesReview work completed by the finance team to ensure the accounting, financial, and performance reporting completed for fund series and separate accounts are in accordance with their reporting needsOversee and manage external providers including fund administrator, audit, and tax advisorsResponsible for the accounting, operations, and compliance functions for the firmPrepare quarterly investment reportsParticipate in the valuation processRequirementsBachelor's and/or Master’s Degree in AccountingCPA PreferredExcellent knowledge of accounting fundamentalsAdvanced Excel Skills5+ years of experience working for a hedge fund or private equity firm
