Acorn Health CareersEmail: Cdavis@Acornhealth.comPOSITION SUMMARY:The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) serves on client cases, providing therapy and supervision to clients. The BCBA oversees client treatment plans from assessment through care delivery and directs their Behavior Technicians, ABA Supervisors, and BCaBA’s on how to best deliver treatment plans. They are closely involved with clients and their families, providing support and family training, as needed.RESPONSIBILITIES:

Oversee client treatment from assessment through care delivery.Conduct initial and follow-up functional, behavioral, and developmental assessments.Develop, oversee, and implement client’s Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP) and Individualized Treatment Plan (ITP).Serve as the clinical lead on client cases, providing supervision to Behavior Technicians, ABA Supervisors, and BCaBAs.Observe program implementation and provide training on interventions, as needed.Work closely with clients and their families providing family training and support.Meet with primary caregivers to discuss observations and concerns.Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and schools to share information and implement best practice intervention programs across settings.Promote awareness and disseminate information regarding ASD and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) through training and presentations, both on- and off-site.Attend and participate in team meetings where ideas, success stories, and recent research topics are presented for discussion and use in treatment.Promote a high level of professional and ethical standards, following both company standards and BACB guidelines.Conduct training workshops for the client’s extended care team, perform routine fidelity checks on R.BTs, routinely collect interobserver reliability data, review client programs to analyze data, observe program implementation, and make necessary changes to the treatment program.Perform a range of evidence-based intervention methods to assist in client treatment plans.Communicate effectively with staff on both client and non-client specific matters.Help cover treatment sessions for other staff members when needed.Achieve individual supervisor productivity targets.Achieve billed direct therapy hours for their business unit versus yearly budget.Must have a flexible schedule and be able to work irregular hours when necessary to include some weekends.Comply with the Acorn Health Code of Ethics, Corporate Compliance Program, HIPAA regulations, policies and procedures, and all other regulations, laws, and other guidance relevant to the position.Perform other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS:

Sensitivity in working with an ethnically, linguistically, culturally, and economically diverse population of children.Ability to remain calm and neutral in challenging situations with clients.Flexibility to work independently with clients in addition to working as a part of the larger team.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.Demonstrate strong organizational skills, be detail-oriented, prepare reports and reliably develop timely correspondence related to work according to agency standards.Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.Able to work independently.Education:

Must possess a master’s degree in ABA or a related field.Must be credentialed (and licensed if applicable) as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.Must have met supervisor requirements per the BACB.Experience/Knowledge:

Minimum two years’ experience serving individuals with ASDs with a full range of skills and abilities.Strong knowledge and understanding of behavior analytic therapies.Experience with staff training and direct employee supervision.Solid understanding of web metrics, digital analytics, with the ability to generate, analyze and interpret data.Experience working with children, adolescents, young adults, and/or families both in clinical settings and in client homes is essential. Specific training/experience in developmental disabilities and Autism Spectrum Disorders is preferred.Minimum of intermediate level proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) required.Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
