Offering a supportive and team-oriented work environment, an opportunity to learn and grow within the organization.Responsibilities:Reviewing and analyzing financial statements and posting adjusting journal entriesPreparing individual and business income tax returnsPreparing tax projections for individuals and business entitiesWorking within tight deadlinesObtaining information from clients regarding taxable income and deductible expensesMaintaining a working relationship with selected clientsResearching tax issues using tax research toolsKeeping up to date on the latest tax updates and regulationsOther duties as assignedQualifications:3 to 5 years’ experience in preparation of income tax returnsPrior work experience in a CPA firm or business management firmBachelor's Degree in Accounting or related fieldKnowledge of CCH ProSystem fx or CCH Access Tax is preferredKnowledge of BNA income tax planner and Quickbooks is a plusKnowledge of AgilLink is a plusProficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and MS TeamsAbility to apply critical thinking in daily tasksAbility to problem solveAbility to multi-task, stay organized and work within tight deadlinesExcellent written, verbal, and oral communication skillsSkills:Excellent organizational skills.Excellent judgment, poise and professionalism.Keen ability to work independently.Practices superior time management
