JOB DESCRIPTIONWillingness to learn and be a team playerAssist tax manager with tax research and compliance functionsAssist with developing and implementing revenue generating conceptsPrepare and review tax returns (individual, corporate, partnership, etc.)Assures compliance with federal, state and local tax laws and regulationsConducts research and planning according to applicable tax laws and regulationsPrepare sales tax audits, annual tax forms, projections and tax noticesMinimizes tax liability through sound and informed application of laws and regulationsMaintains tax records, related schedules and related reportsTypically requires exercising independent judgmentOther assignments as requiredMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Minimum 3 to 5 years experience within a CPA FirmBachelor's in Accounting requiredCertified Public Accountant (CPA)Master's degree in Tax is a plusKnowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and proceduresProficient in Lacerte, RIA, BNA as well as other accounting softwareExcellent verbal communication skills and interpersonal skillsStrong leadership skillsWe offer 100% paid benefits for the employee.
