BI Developer/Tableau Developer
Job Duties and Skills:
Support the design and development of BI solutions.Work on BI Requirements gathering, documenting and Participate in project planning, status and review meetings.Design Tableau solutions to address in a large BI environment.Participate and build complex dashboards and reports for multiple subject areas.Design, prototype, create, modify, implement and maintain new dashboards and reports.Create and update technical and functional documentation such as Report specifications document, source to target documents, data dictionaries, system design documents, etc.Support user questions & provide Tips via Tableau Developers channel (MS Teams).Perform Tableau Server Maintenance.Support enhancements and fixes to existing solutions.Create and manage tableau workbooks and work on performance improvements.Configure additional data source connectivity on the Tableau Server based on the user requests.Present demos on Tableau Features via Tools & Platform working group to customers.Provide end user training and documentation for reports and Tableau Dashboards.Troubleshoot and fix data issues from reports and dashboards through the source (DB) system.Create PL/SQL scripts for new views, tables, queries and procedures for reports and dashboards.Implement and perform SQL tuning, testing, data quality checks and assist in writing test cases.Required Education: A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or a closely related field, or a combination of education and experience equating to the U.S. equivalent of a Bachelor’s degree in one of the aforementioned subjects.Work location is Charlotte, NC with required travel to client locations throughout the USA.
