Three major projects are available depending on interest: 1) Exploration of transcription factors that determine the cellular dormancy fate of disseminated prostate cancer cells. 2) Development of a novel loci-specific proteomic approach to reveal new transcription regulators of key driver genes in prostate cancer. 3) Development of peptide PROTAC degraders against undruggable target proteins in prostate cancer. Previous experience on cell culture, molecular cloning, and western blotting are required. Skills on CRISPR gene editing, flow cytometry, immunohistochemistry/immunoprecipitation, mouse handling and injection, confocal microscopy, and basic bioinformatic analyses such as RNA-Seq analyses are highly desired. The Su Lab is seeking highly motivated, energetic, and passionate researchers to join the efforts to decipher the bone metastases and develop novel therapies for patients' benefits.Job Responsibilities:70% - Conduct research in the area of expertise including regular bench work on cell biology, molecular biology, and biochemistry as well as necessary animal procedures.
