Job Overview:
The Resident Care Director (RCD) serves as the nursing clinical leader for the community, responsible for managing health and wellness, coordination of care and services, oversight of Care programs, regulatory compliance, recruiting, and performance management.Responsibilities:Managing Health and Wellness:Provides strategic leadership for resident care by managing and monitoring the nursing team, performing resident assessments, collaborating with clinical providers, and promoting an integrated approach to wellness operations.Medication Management:Manages medication care managers, oversees medication program, provides training, and ensures resident safety.Quality Assurance and Regulatory Compliance:Tracks clinical quality data, leads improvement initiatives, recruits and trains team members, ensures compliance with regulations, and manages the department budget.Training, Leadership, and Team Member Development:Partners in training programs, on-boards new leaders, ensures compliance with regulations, and holds the team accountable.Qualifications:Graduate of an accredited nursing school with RN license.Minimum 2 years RN experience, 1 year in senior care preferred.Minimum 1 year nursing management experience.Certified in CPR and First Aid.Knowledge of nursing practices, infection control, and clinical data analysis.Experience in staff development, quality improvement, and time management.Computer proficiency and flexibility in working hours.About Sunrise:
