Business Development Manager, C5ISR

The Manager, Business Development is responsible for creating and developing strategic relationships with partners or potential customers. Under the direction of the Director, C5ISR, this individual will execute the strategic business and operational plan focusing on critical and strategic accounts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Will lead the organization through the Noble capture and proposal process for opportunities
Identifies and explores customer requirements and serves as an expert conduit to Noble
Conducts analysis of the market and the competitive landscape
Performs DoD & program office budget analysis to support capture efforts
Conduct customer, market, and competitive analysis to support discretionary budget spend
Aid in the planning, designing, and implementing of business plans
Assist with the follow-through and employment of the Company's vision, strategies, and tactics
Coordinate and facilitate activities and commitments with other departments and/or functions
Participate/coordinate in strategic alliances and other external business relationships
Additional Responsibilities:
Analyze and have general understanding of the Government budgeting process
Have general understanding of the Army, Air Force & USMC requirements generation process
Will have to engage the DoD customer for products and programs
Make presentations on Noble portfolio of products and services
Attend trade shows
Experience, Education, and Certifications:
A minimum 5 years in Business Development Operations and at least 3 years in a Capture Management/Business Development position;
Bachelor's Degree preferred in Marketing, Engineering, or related discipline or equivalent experience
Prior military experience preferred
Prior experience working with Army, Air Force and USMC requirements definition and acquisition personnel and organizations preferred
Understanding of the C5ISR space
Strong interpersonal, written, verbal, and presentation skills; planning, organization, and time management skills
Knowledge of Company products, markets, and technology
Strong analytical and financial skills
Ability to travel at least 50% of the time
Competencies:
Ability to work independently as well as part of a larger team.
Computer Skills:
Strong experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience using Salesforce preferred
