Competitive pay and benefits with a 30% Annual Incentive Plan Opportunity Bonus, including Day 1 Health & Wellness Benefits, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, 401K Employer Matching, Education Assistance, Paid Time Off, and much more.Growth opportunities performing essential work to support America’s food distribution system.Safe and inclusive working environment, including culture of rewards, recognition, and respect.Responsibilities:Manage all aspects of the transportation function in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment.Selection of qualified drivers, routing, driving, safety, unloading, fleet maintenance, customer/driver relationships, and Department of Transportation (DOT) and Operating Company (OpCo) compliance.Handle driver selection and orientation process, employee relations issues, monitoring DOT and Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) compliance, managing Transportation Supervisors, and monitoring routing process to ensure customer satisfaction.Function as a team member within the department and organization, as required.Perform any duty assigned to best serve the company.Required Qualifications:High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience.Transportation experience including in-depth knowledge of DOT regulations and experience with operations of computerized fleet management systems.Team lead or supervisory experience.Preferred Qualifications:6 - 10 Years of transportation experience including in-depth knowledge of DOT regulations and experience with operations of computerized fleet management systems within the foodservice industry.Supervisory experience.Company Description:Performance Foodservice, PFG’s broadline distributor, maintains a unique relationship with a variety of local customers, including independent restaurants and hotels, healthcare facilities, schools, and quick-service eateries.
