Responsible for effective operations within the OpCo. Develops and implements operating policies and procedures across functions such as sales, customer service, quality control standards, purchasing, inventory control, materials management, distribution, and facilities maintenance and planning. Conducts and reviews feasibility of new or revised systems and procedures.Responsible for all supply chain management functions within the OpCo. Requires thorough involvement with sales, operations, procurement/marketing, customer service, and finance. Supervises senior-level staff at one or more locations.Leads and manages the OpCo, which provides distribution services to customers in a defined geographic area. Accountable for achieving established profit, Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortization (EBITDA), sales growth, and other financial measures of the OpCo. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company.Duties

Supervises associates to include staffing, training, coaching, performance management, and problem resolution. Ensures the responsibilities, authorities, and accountability of all direct subordinates are defined and understood. Maintains leadership development practices that promote and provide for capable management succession.Plans and budgets to achieve business objectives, and coordinates functions between departments to establish responsibilities and procedures for attaining objectives. Establishes current and long-range objectives, plans, and policies. Directs the preparation of the annual OpCo budget.Reviews reporting and financial statements to determine progress and status in attaining objectives and revises objectives and plans in accordance with current conditions. Reviews operating results of the OpCo, compares them to established objectives, and takes steps to ensure that appropriate measures are taken to correct unsatisfactory results. Reviews analysis of activities, costs, operations, and forecast data to determine OpCo progress toward stated goals and objectives.Establishes operating policies consistent with PFG's broad policies and objectives and ensures their execution. Provides guidance, advice, direction, and authorization to carry out major plans and procedures, consistent with established PFG policies.Guides and directs management in the development, promotion, and sale of the OpCo's services.Maintains sound public relations practices to improve the company's image and relationships with customers, associates, and the public. Promotes and practices effective communication and adequate flow of information. Represents the organization with customers, associates, vendors, the financial community, and the public.Directs overall supply chain management within the OpCo to ensure attainment of departmental goals and objectives, evaluating performance of staff members for compliance with established policies and objectives of the OpCo and their contributions in attaining those objectives.Performs other related duties as assigned.Required Qualifications:Required Education: High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent ExperienceRequired Experience: 6 - 10 YearsPreferred Qualifications:Preferred Education: BachelorsPreferred Experience: 10 YearsCompany Description:Performance Foodservice, PFG’s broadline distributor, maintains a unique relationship with a variety of local customers, including independent restaurants and hotels, healthcare facilities, schools, and quick-service eateries.
