Develop CNC programs using CAM software to efficiently machine tooling components on CNC Vertical Machining Centers.Analyze blueprints, models, and specifications provided by Tool Designers to determine the best machining processes to yield optimum results.Create Program sheets for operators that graphically explain the intent of the program (Pickup point, Tools to be used, designation of grind stock etc.).Help troubleshoot and resolve machining issues to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules.Maintain cutting tool inventory of common cutting tools.Maintain programming documentation and update CNC programs as needed to reflect process improvements or design changes.QUALIFICATIONSBasic QualificationsMinimum of 5 years of experience programming CNC milling machines in a Metal Stamping manufacturing environment.Proficiency with CAM software such as Mastercam, GibbsCAM, or similar.Strong understanding of G-code programming and CNC machine operation.Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and geometric tolerances.Experience with cutting tool selection and optimization for CNC machining in various steel types.Knowledge of cutting tool materials, speeds, and feeds.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Effective communication and teamwork abilities.High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education or certifications are a plus.#J-18808-Ljbffr
