Its commitment to making the highest-quality, best-value products has allowed Sugar Creek to grow into one of the largest independent bacon processors servicing the global market.DESCRIPTION SUMMARYObserve and analyze the throughput of various raw materials, products, and other items to assess the efficiency of the current manufacturing processes, focusing on cost-benefit analysis. Compare daily/weekly outputs with the bill of materials (BOM) and manufacturing routes to identify opportunities for more effective processes. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESMonitor daily BOM for significant variations, report issues to Departmental Manager/Production Supervisor for corrective actions.Meet with Plant Management and Production Supervisors to address production line issues.Create weekly operation reports for plant management.Ensure accurate submission of Maintenance Request Orders (MRO) purchase orders.Identify areas for process efficiency improvement.Enter data into enterprise regional programs (ERP) for material and inventory tracking.Review labor hours for production line personnel usage.Track supply orders through MRO manager, maintaining accurate documentation.Provide batch and tracking information in case of recall or contamination threat.Comply with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations.Support safety, food quality, and sanitation initiatives and policies.Follow SugarCreek safety rules and procedures.Perform other assigned duties and tasks.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSEDUCATION: High school degree or equivalent (GED), or equivalent experience; Associate’s Degree in Accounting preferred.EXPERIENCE: Five to ten years in Inventory Control and Production Orders, preferably in the food industry.CERTIFICATION OR LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS: None.ABILITIES, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS REQUIREDAble to use critical thinking to troubleshoot production issues.Identify statistical variations from large quantities of data.Manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.Strong attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills.Apply basic math skills, especially arithmetic.Strong computer skills, particularly with ERP software and Microsoft Office.OTHER REQUIREMENTSNo unusual physical requirements. Physical demands are similar to plant accounting positions, mainly sitting with some standing/walking. Light physical activities like using stairs or moving items under 15lbs may be needed. Some travel between plants may be required. WORK ENVIRONMENTSome travel to other locations is necessary.Work is primarily in a comfortable, indoor, office-like setting. Some work occurs in an indoor manufacturing facility near heavy machinery, requiring safety wear like hard hats, hairnets, hearing protection, safety glasses, steel-toe boots, and coats.#J-18808-Ljbffr
