Plant Controller

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Financial Accountant to join our dynamic manufacturing team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and optimize the financial operations of our plant, driving financial excellence and supporting strategic decision-making.Key Responsibilities:1\. Financial AccountingOversee all accounting functions including cash management, AR/AP, inventory, capital assets, tooling, and intercompany transactionsLead month-end processes, ensuring timely completion and accuracyPrepare financial statements in accordance with local GAAP/IFRSConduct monthly balance sheet reviews and reconciliationsMonitor and analyze plant spending, capital projects, and working capital2\. Cost AccountingEnsure accuracy of costs and inventory transactionsReview and reconcile actual vs. standard costsPerform annual BOM (bill of material) reviews and update standard costs3\. Management AccountingPrepare monthly forecasts and financial analyses for plant managementCompile financial packages for corporate management reviewsTrack and report monthly plant performance KPIsLead annual budgeting process, collaborating with departmental managers4\. Continuous ImprovementSupport CI initiatives with clear financial objectivesAssist in profit maximization strategiesIdentify cost-saving opportunities across departments5\. Internal Controls and AuditCoordinate internal and external auditsAddress audit findings and implement corrective actionsStrengthen existing controls and ensure compliance with corporate financial policiesRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred5+ years of experience in manufacturing accounting or similar roleStrong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and cost accounting principlesProficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skillsExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilitiesStrong communication and leadership skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentThis role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on our organization's financial performance and growth.
