Overview:
Experienced MuleSoft developer who can work independently and deliver software projects. This position’s primary responsibility will be to provide technical expertise and coordinate for day-to-day deliverables for the team. The chosen candidate will assist in the technical design of large business systems; build applications, interface between applications, and understand data security, retention, and recovery. Contributes expertise on significant application components, program languages, databases, operating systems, etc.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Mule Soft Lead responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Leading technical design sessions to create sustainable, high-performing features
Timely delivery of assigned projects
Defining and maintaining standard development practices for the team
Collaboration with offshore team on a daily basis
General understanding of database design and optimizing application access to backend data
Continuous direct interaction with clients and end-users to understand software needs and talk through architectural and technical design choices
Maintain integration-related infrastructure from an application development standpoint
Work with 3 rd
party SaaS vendors for integrating with core systems
Preferred Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or another technical discipline
5+ years of experience in backend application development
Experience in MuleSoft, Core Java, and Spring framework
4+ years of hands-on experience in MuleSoft
Experience in RAML specification, Data weave, various connectors, exception handling
Experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA)
Experience in Web services, REST services, Spring
Experience using Atlassian tools, e.g. JIRA, Confluence
Experience in the Retail and Finance domain will be an added advantage though not a constraint
Strong communication and analytical skills
Willing to work in application/production support
Experience with API Gateway products like AWS, MuleSoft API Manager, or Google Apigee
Skills & Abilities:
